“OH, take me down to the paradise city, where the grass is green and the girls are pretty…”

Good news everyone! EA and Criterion Games has come forth and announced that a remastered version of the great game Burnout Paradise that came out in 2008 which I loved playing…mostly by myself but hey it was fun nonetheless and for me is still one of the best street race games to this day.

In a tweet on the 20th of February Criterion Games showed an official reveal trailer for the Burnout Paradise Remaster game, which is shown to come out for both Xbox One and Playstation 4 on March 16, 2018. However, they did add shortly after that a PC version would be expected to come out later this year (hopefully, given that I wouldn’t mind if it got delayed).

Burnout Paradise Remastered will include the original base game and with eight add-on game packs that was released during the “Year of Paradise”, including the extension to the drivable world with Big Surf Island. The game will also feature various upgrades in terms of enhancement with graphics, greater visual fidelity, resolution all the way up to 4K! as well as supporting 60FPS (Frames Per Second) on the Playstation 4 Pro and Xbox One X.

As an added bonus, it has been told that the games will support up to 8 in multiplayer, though not much else has been said, so I can only guess that we can be in a party up to 8 people that then can drive around against each other in races and sight-seeing.

Nevertheless, do tell what you guys think of this. I know for one, that I’m excited to come back to the Paradise City (or island) and drive around by myself or with some friends to enjoy the scenery and do some crazy stunts in the streets.
Tell me down in the comments your thoughts and let us have a discussion about it.

Stay Cozy and have a nice day!
